Our Story
30 years at the forefront of customs services
Vámkapu Zrt. began operations in 1996, and has continuously supported its partners in customs matters, customs clearance and logistics solutions ever since. Our nearly three-decade presence in the service market guarantees unique experience and expertise for our clients. One of the strengths of our professional work is that we operate customs yards at two high-traffic, intermodal hubs in Budapest, where our on-site customs office presence ensures the presentation of shipments to customs, the professional conduct of procedures, and the carrying out of inspections.
Our services cover customs and excise solutions related to the transport of goods, and we also offer warehousing and logistics solutions. Our goal is to keep the processing time of customs procedures affecting goods transport as short as possible, for which we hold AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) status along with the related customs authorisations and guarantee coverage - confirming the quality and reliability of our service. In practice, customs procedures require the transport process to be paused for the duration of clearance. The length of this waiting time is influenced by how well-prepared the shipment is, and we are also available to support you with consultation and expert advice. Our Customs Yards
Two customs yards, one provider
Two customs yards at key Budapest freight hubs are at our clients' disposal for handling import and export customs matters. The cargo terminals, where customs office presence is guaranteed, operate within the jurisdiction of the NAV South Budapest Tax and Customs Directorate.
BILKBILK Customs Yard
Our facility is located at the junction of the M0 motorway and the 51–M51 routes, along international route no. 5. The customs yard serves road vehicles and the Rail Cargo Terminal Zrt. railway container terminal.

METRANSMETRANS Customs Yard
Our facility provides customs office presence at the METRANS group's Budapest (BUCS) container terminal. The customs yard service here is available exclusively for the customs affairs of containers involved in METRANS rail freight.
